A somewhat runny, translucent glaze that pools in textured areas. Copper blue can serve as a nice base glaze, or sometimes an alternative to clear. Fires red in reduction.
One of Coyote’s most varied series, the Copper and Iron Glazes provide beautiful, traditional looks for ceramic wares. They each have their own properties, but most are durable enough for functional ware.
