Strontium Carbonate (Fine)
Recommended as a substitute for barium carbonate, but we also recommend testing it first for that use. Pat Horsley finds that 75% of the amount of barium called for is ample. Also often causes color loss. Try blending strontium and barium for a beautiful, unexpected glaze.
