Dry-to-satin and opaque. Soft, warm, white; it breaks and crawls to create a ‘frothy’ surface. Tight, vitreous clays give an almost satin finish; more open, structural clays are more likely to produce the frothy texture. The heavier the application, the heavier the froth.
