A must have for your pottery wheel! Throwing bats sit on top of the wheelhead and allow pieces to be thrown, lifted off, and set aside while you continue working. Leaving the piece on the bat as it stiffens helps reduce distortion that can occur when cutting a wet pot free with a wire.
