How do I qualify for a school, business, or professional discount?
You must be a school (or teacher at a school with a valid badge), be a registered business, or sell your work (have a website/etsy account/etc.).
Do guild members receive special pricing?
Yes! If you are in:
- Oregon Potters Association (OPA)
- Clay Folk
- Washington Clay Associate (WCA)
- Willamette Ceramics Guild
- Clay Fest/Local Clay
Please e-mail a copy of your registration/number and expiration date to info@georgies.com. We update our list a couple times a year but if you register in between that then we will miss you so you will have to e-mail your current information.
How do distributor discounts work?
If you are a distributor you will get wholesale pricing for resale in your store. If you are interested in becoming a distributor, please inquire on our distributor page.
Do quantity discounts apply automatically?
You are coded in our software system specifically so if a discount applies you will get a discount. (Note: not every product has a discount)
Why does my online price differ from my invoice price?
The online prices are all listed at retail price and your invoice reflects the final total you paid (which may have included discounts!)
Why don’t I see my discounted prices online?
Everything online is listed at our retail price so your discount will be reflected on your final invoice.
Do you offer sales or promotions?
Yes! We offer our glaze of the week every week but keep an eye on our e-news for other sales or promotions.
Do discounts apply to equipment?
We have already discounted our equipment for you!
Do discounts apply to clay or raw materials?
Clay and raw material are all by quantity (the more you buy, the better deal you receive)
Do schools receive special clay pricing?
All clay is by quantity – 25lb, 50lb, 100lb, 500lb, 1000lb and 2000lb.
Can pricing vary based on my location?
All product pricing is the same whether you live on the west coast, mid-west or east coast.
Do students get a discount?
We do offer students a 20% discount off MSRP on Georgie’s glazes & Kemper tools. Please show us your student ID at check out to get that discount. (Note: you’ll have to show us your ID every time you purchase)
What shipping methods do you offer?
We ship UPS, USPS & freight.
Do you offer real-time shipping rates?
We do not – but we are happy to a quote for you anytime.
How are shipping costs calculated?
Shipping costs are calculated based on weight, box dimensions and distance.
Can I choose my preferred carrier?
We will always choose the carrier that is cheapest, but if you prefer a certain carrier no matter what the charge is then please let us know.
Do you ship to Alaska or Hawaii?
Yes! USPS is usually the cheapest option to get to Alaska/Hawaii.
Do you ship internationally?
We ship to Canada only. Other than that, we do not ship internationally.
Why does freight cost more than standard shipping?
You are shipping in bulk with a heavier weight.
How do I know if my order will go freight?
We will let you know if your order would be cheaper to be sent freight.
